I am just learning the do’s and dont’s of stick slingin’ so take it easy on me.
I have gotten to a point where I can consistantly place 20 inch composite arrows in a 4 inch circle at 45 yards (straight shot of course).
For some reason in my mind I keep remembering that bows are not designed to really be effective beyond 30 or so yards. I can hit what I am aiming at well beyond that.
My question is, what is the safe max distance that I can take a deer CLEANLY if I have a clear shot?

I had some roommates (a married couple whom i thought had themselves together and were mature) that i let stay w/ me for a month. Two weeks into it, they decided they didn’t want to pay me the full rent and asked if they could just pay half of my electic/water bills, even though the guy doesn’t work and the girl makes $24 an hour, compared to my measley paycheck of $500 every 2 weeks. After I told them no, that thats not gonna work, and unless they paid me the remaining $200 out of the $300 that they still owed, they needed to be out in 2 weeks. So they paid it and stayed til the end of the month. Things started happening to my house. I was doing dishes w/ them one day (I made them stay here and clean because they always left during the evenings and HE never got off his a** and did a thing, so I caught them before they left), keep in mind I had used the dishwasher 3 days before and it was fine. Well, water started pouring out from under the sink. Someone had taken the hose clamp off, deliberately. It had been there 3 days before! I know I didn’t do it, but I suspect one of them did it thinking I’d be there by myself when I started the dishwasher and I’d be stuck w/ the mess. I’m not stupid, so I fixed it.
I make bows like Longbows I know of recurve composite and flatbow any others?
i mean wooden bows i know about the comon knowledge ones i just wanna know if there are others
i make bows but if you can post sites with types other than long ,flat and,composite it would help .
