figure skating – Get Into Winter by Ice Skating

Figure Skating Exhibition

Ice skating is offered at indoor rinks year-round. Still, I think of it as a winter sport. As the weather turns cold, parks, pools and beaches are less attractive. Besides, you’ve been there all summer. It’s time to do something different.

In addition to the permanent indoor ice rinks, you’ll find temporary outdoor rinks during the winter. Even in Southern California, where it never gets cold enough to keep a skating rink frozen, they are able to bring in the equipment to have an ice skating rink outdoors. I’ve seen them at parks and some large shopping centers. Nothing gets shoppers in the mood to buy like Christmas music and ice skating. Even if you just choose to watch, it’s very wintry.

  1. American Football – Good luck getting bored and falling asleep watching this.
  2. Baseball – This is sometimes referred to as the number one sport, but American football gets more viewers.
  3. Basketball – over 300 million people play world wide and America started the NBA.
  4. Hockey – It is difficult to get bored watching this, and the Americans love it for that.
  5. Golf – Really let go for everyone, many thanks to Tiger Woods for making Golf even more famous.
